Traditionally Sakura season is advertised as the most beautiful time of year in Japan, with Sakura maps appearing all over the tv news, in newspapers and on the internet. However, plum blossom, which is out now, can be almost as stunning. At 2 degrees it’s currently a bit chilly for those lovely little blossoms.
