To the Tower

G, A and I went for a walk this morning from Morston to Blakeney and back. Before setting off we had a few rain showers and it wasn't looking promising, but it very soon turned into a glorious day with full sun and a lovely blue sky.

After the walk we stopped off at St. Nicholas church in Blakeney. The church was founded in the 13th century, but the greater part of the church dates from the 15th century when Blakeney was a seaport of some importance. The church, like a lot of Norfolk churches, now looks really big for the town. G and A walked up the tower and you can see the wonderful view from the top here https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2541729217616284249

In my postcard you can see a small photo of the top of the tower, see if you can see G! I liked the memorial in the graveyard with a carved anchor and chain draped over a cross.
