on a pitiful cactus plant - which i thought was done in - but my brother persuaded me - to give it a chance after - he painstakingly cleaned it up after - it took a direct hit from the ceiling collapse - i remember frowning at him - he just grinned at me saying - they are very resilient plants

now i'm glad i listened - i suppose that's what big brother's are for - they push us when things - get a bit rough - encourage us not to give up - because lookit what has happened - out of a desolate plant, has sprouted - a new offshoot of growth - with a very tiny bud - proving once again hope is alive - in my new household - and it's leading to...
