Watching and waiting

A beautiful day today. Bright sunshine, blue sky and no low cloud.

I spotted Smudge this morning sitting on the boundary fence. She seemed to have her eye on something as she appeared quite transfixed on it.

She may not wander far into the adjoining fields now, as we have new neighbours and they have two dogs. Her days of wandering free may have been curtailed.
