Acrobatic rider

Took another walk across the old city today - colour, colour, colour.  Am off to Delhi by plane tomorrow as my booked sleeper bus is liable to be delayed by rioters near Jaipur.  They have blocked the railway and roads around the city and with a plane booked for 14th in the morning it seemed wise although expensive to fly instead.  1st extra:  I used to sit on one of 10 aluminium milk churns like these - a 2 mile trip in the milk cart pulled by a horse called Mark - on the way to catch the bus to school. The next is a man using real gold thread to decorate a saree - one hand permanently under the cloth to push the needle through. The watch/clock repair man has the smallest of workshops. A bride's family have all squeezed into the silversmiths to buy items for the dowry. 120 year old house - the family within are shelling chickpeas but didn't want a close up (but you can!) I just love this place and will be so sad to leave it and my friends too.
