No lycra lads here

Yesterday's blip has been updated and more photos added.  Wifi is workiing better this evening. Another fascinating trip out into the countryside to visit the little town which specialises in indigo dyeing .  Everyone had blue hands and feet and the women were tyeing knots in raw cloth prior to dyeing. We saw mongooses, a sparrow hawk sat prettily for a picture, 15 herons round a well saw one catch a fish and carry it off to eat, along with another heron who was looking for titbits. Three on a motorbike shouted that they were happy I was taking their memory home with me!  Opium poppies are grown under licence and strictly monitored.  When the petals fall the pods are slightly slit in a few places so the sap can run.  In a couple of days it has solidified enough to collect.  The performance repeated many times.  The owner can keep 20% but the government buys the rest for medical use.  The owner can use or sell his as he wishes. Different noserings were everywhere.  The remaining pictures are of the indigo dyeing town.  The woman is wearing the traditional local skirt of 5 metres of fabric
