Sue Foll's picture of the day

Silent witness

Everywhere I go in London  there are pavement widening schemes. This means there is more room for pedestrians (shoppers) and less for vehicles.

After April the centre of London will become an ultra low emission zone. This means that is you drive a diesel or older petrol vehicle  you will be charged an extra £12.50 per day on top of congestion charge and parking.

This will be extended to the area inside the north and south circular in 2021. By this time I'll need to be driving an electric vehicle.
