sky surprise

We had a good nights sleep once we got used to humming sound. We walked across the path to a little cafe and had breakfast.Great views of the Mitchell library where we went once we had finished. A lovely library , a bookbug session was taking place and the sound of Old MacDonald had a farm filled the library space.
A walk through some of the side roads down to the Clyde.Had to keep stopping though as I kept getting dizzy spells that were really unpleasant.
We sat outside one of the hotels by the water and had a cup of tea in the sunshine. I was thrilled to see a peregrine falcon swoop down from the crane chasing off the two raven that had been sitting on the top.
We were able to book into our hotel room early. On floor 9 and we had fantastic views up the Clyde to the Tall ship and Transport museum.
We had a slow wander along the water and ended up at The at the Tall ship that was open and free to explore. I did not climb up or down many of the steps but it was fun to see the areas I could get to.
We then had a look in the Museum, also free, and well worth a visit if you have not been before. The RSPB were there so we bought a few more bird pins and were given flying chough for nothing.
We had a meal in the hotel, I had chicken breast with a Caesar salad.
Our evening was spent in the Hydro watching Alison Moyet and Tears for Fears .Really good concert , the last time I saw Tear for Fears was in 1983 at the Winter Gardens in Margate, which I think was the first concert I went to.
Good to be staying right next door as just a short walk away.
