Glasgow city chambers

Just enough time for breakfast in the small Italian cafe near George Square and then a look at the mosaic floors and ceiling in City Chambers.This mosaic is in the entrance showing the City Crest , more info here https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=17325
We walked around the square.The workmen were busy planting up the beds under the statues.
Our train was on time ,although down to just two carriages but we managed to get a seat.A good journey back, arrived 10 minutes late so it was a bit of a rush to get home and Mike to drop me off and go back to the airport.I could have caught the bus but had to get back for Brownies.
All worked out ok and The brownies took their Promise , an important day as it’s the first Promise Ceremony for 2nd Fortrose Brownies.
Home alone tonight as everyone else is away.
