Fergus

10.3C and mostly bright. Plenty of cloud but some sunny spells too. Moderate SSE/SE/S breeze.

Fergus and I went for a walk out to the shipyard after lunch. It felt quite mild. We had a potter around out there before we wandered back along Low Askomill. I even sat for a few mins on one of the benches. Fergus didn't jump up and sit beside me, he often does.

On the Clip while walking:
The BBC Radio 3 podcast Sound of Cinema:
1. Matthew Sweet explored the great collaboration between Alfred Hitchcock and Bernard Herrmann in a programme marking BBC's Icons Season.
2. With the release of the third in the series of How To Train Your Dragon, composer John Powell talked to Matthew Sweet about his methods for composing for a major franchise.
3. Matthew Sweet considered the changing face of smuggling in film through the scores that have accompanied them from the high jinks of Whiskey Galore to some of today's more sinister affairs.

Afternoon music ... Runrig, Searchlight. Heartland.
