Heart of Steel

I took the train down to Meadowhall to meet Harriet and her friend Lauren for lunch and some shopping.

This is the "Heart of Steel" sculpture inside the shopping mall. It's being used by the British Heart Foundation to raise money for research. 

Eventually  it's hoped that the heart will sit inside another sculpture. "The Steel Man" - a 32 metre high sculpture which will overlook Sheffield and become a new icon for the region.
