Cafe Stop

The bonhomie of a winter bike ride.It was the annual old boys' reunion ride in foggy hertfordshire. There is a great cafe at Panshanger aerodrome which does excellent chocolate cake. It was -1.5degrees outside with black ice in the lanes so we were pleased to arrive at the cafe stop in one piece. Then it was onward to lunch with some of the veteran cycling greats - Alf Engers; Phil Corley; Bob Downs and Monty Condor - the godfather of bike shops. A great day out.

Hopefully this illustrates the pleasure of a coffee and cake in the warm with friends.
