Cologne Cathedral

Early this morning we took the Thalys high speed train from Paris via Brussels to Cologne, Germany. After lunch and a good nap, we visited the city's mammoth Gothic cathedral; its façade, most of which you see here, is "the largest church façade ever built," according to the 20-page brochure offered inside. It's 40 minutes before sunset at the end of a sparkling clear day. The extra shows the interior.
Cologne has excellent museums, which I'll report on this weekend.
