Rosy Smoke

Captured just after sunrise from our apartment--how different from my one previous  smoke blip on this Paris sojourn.

Our outing for today actually featured both color and black-and-white.  It was an exhibition of photographs by Vivian Maier (1926-2009)--an American who while working as a nanny took photos essentially on the sly, never showing them. In 2007 they were auctioned from storage space she could no longer pay for, and the buyers have made her virtually a celebrity. Numerous images from the show we saw are arrayed here--both B&W and color.

I'm marking the gallery (Les Douches) on the map (zoom in to see it).
