83 Bus in Paris ...

… on Boulevard St. Germain, around the corner from the Maillol Museum, arriving to bear us back to the Place de Italie, close to home. At the museum we had visited an excellent exhibition entitled   "From the Douanier Rousseau to Séraphine", on naïve or "modern primitive" art in Europe around the turn from the 19th to the 20th century. It was quite wonderful, transporting us (myself, Marylee, Ann and Charley) to a visual world much beyond our usual one. There were many works by artists beyond the two eponymous ones in the title, nearly all of them new to me.   It was thus a real learning experience.
