Walking.....

.....along the Pahurehure Inlet......

Had a lovely wander along some of the Pahurehure Inlet walk, the air was brisk being winter with pockets of sun peeking through mostly cloudy skies.

The path winds itself along the inlet heavily planted with flaxes, agapthanus, lillies and beautiful big trees before heading up into suburban areas and parks. Wildlife on the Inlet are ducks, white-faced herons, kingfishers and swallows while tui's and cooing of doves could be heard in the trees.

We had a lovely leisurely day with mum's cousin, wonderful to see the old family photo's :)

Happy Monday everyone :)

PS: This is a backblip going back to our North Island holiday in August 2018. I'm a bit slow catching up, mostly due to my eyes, enjoying catching up :)
