Spikes

After yesterday’s slimy froggy/toady amphibian blip, today I bring you a sharp and spiky shot.

Walking through the woods - Finlay seems to be absolutely fine, which is a huge relief - I spotted this thorny stem nestled up against some barbed wire. The sun was just about strong enough highlight it against the background. I rather liked the contrast of natural and man-made defences.

Mrs madwill has gone to a trade show at NEC today - left me in charge of fabric labelling…four days to the Harrogate quilt show, the pressure is building…. :-))
