Texas View

I was back in the air today, heading once more to Houston. This was taken a little while before landing. I wasn’t sure where it was but I looked it up afterwards and discovered we were flying by the Angelina National Forest and the Sam Rayburn Reservoir built on the Angelina River, north-east of Houston and west of the Louisiana border. Construction of the dam started in 1956 and it is the largest reservoir completely in the state of Texas and has 600 miles of shoreline. So now you know!
