Roach Valley

There's a walk in outer Essex, towards the sea, called the Roach Valley Way. It's the latest project of the walking group and we were blessed with a beautiful day for stage 1. The perfect coffee stop presented itself on the sea wall and we ate our cake with the sun shining full on. 

Then at the end we had a late lunch in a brilliant pub. The Plough and Sail at Paglesham. I'd never heard of the place or the pub but it's worth the trip if you are out that way. Be sure to book a table. A busting sunday roast.
