Wintry warmth

Back blip

After arriving home having visited family and friends for the weekend, I was so ready to just drop into bed and sleep.  It seems when we hit the coast for our monthly visits, we go from zero to cranked upon arrival and it definitely takes its toll.  However, our neighbours had invited us over for a bonfire and as we are trying to get to know people up here we'd said yes.  Initially, it was a push but once there was so glad we went!  Sipping wine and eating chili in front of a roaring fire we hardly felt the -13C degree weather.
