Chair Anyone?

I took a fascinating behind the scenes tour of Polesden Lacy today on the way home.  The National Trust are hoping to be able to renovate a number of bedrooms which over the years have been "remodelled" as offices, residential apartments and storage.  Our knowledgable tour guide kept asking us to walk through solid walls, now corridors,  and image corridors and doorways where walls were present, while unlocking doors so we could peep into rooms, many with en suite bathrooms. Most the of the rooms are now used for storage, including for chairs "which seem to breed at Polesden".  This original bathroom cum modern kitchen was stuffed with chairs!
