Another day of travel.
We left Rustic Lodge in Monteverde at 8.15am and had 1.5 hours bumping down the mountainside in a small minibus with little suspension.
It was a relief to stop off for a cool drink and there was the added bonus of scarlet macaws in the surrounding trees.
Soon on our way again and by 2.30 we had arrived in Manuel Antonio, on the Pacific coast.
We are all feeling weary after an exciting week so a relaxing cocktail by the pool was a real tonic.
I had intended to blip a photo of my pina colada with one of the resident iguanas in the background but the moment I put down my drink, he (?) had pinched the piece of pineapple.
