Going to pot

The local garden centre near Cumbernauld Village is changing hands. Having been a Dobbies store for some time, it is closing on Thursday to reopen as a Caulders Garden Centre on Saturday.

The general feeling is that this is a positive development, as the place is long overdue a bit of a refurbishment and spruce-up and clearly didn't fit in with Dobbies' longer-term plans.

Popped in to buy a couple of bits and pieces this afternoon and the couple of members of staff that I spoke to (all of whom are being retained) were looking forward to seeing what the changes bring. Oh, and while I was there, I photographed some flowerpots. Bill and Ben, however, were nowhere to be seen.
