COACH . . . NO HORSES

Today the NYMR midday steamer held a special secret. The train was pulled by locomotive BR Standard 4 Tank No. 80136, built in Brighton, and used mainly for commuter and branch line services between 1 May 1956 To 24 July 1965.
However this was also the first outing for the newly restored 1st Class Parlour Coach named Garnet . . .  and what a superb job the workers have done to provide a coach with class. Hopefully it will be a regular on all Pullman Services throughout this year. Extra shows The Horse . . . loco 80136.
