Late Wednesday

I was late for work as Helen and I got engaged in a discussion about Shamima Begum, and the nuances of her situation.

I was late leaving work to meet my friend Tide in London as I encroached on another team celebrating a success with champagne, and felt I should quaff a glass.

I was definitely very late for bed after taking the late trundling train home from London to Cambridge, after Tide and I had eaten Thai food and downed lager.

It was already around midnight when this woman was spotted tinkling on one of the pianos installed at Kings Cross St Pancras tube station.
