Blue Lagoon, Cyprus

THURSDAY

Today we went on a 8-hour Land Rover Safari to the unspoilt Akamas Peninsula exploring areas that are only accessible by 4wd and on foot.

The trip took in St Georges harbour and Sea Caves, a trek up the Akamas Gorge, Lara Bay where turtles lay their eggs each year, a trip up to an abandoned village in the hills, a fab lunch outdoors at Latsi harbour (see extra), then on to a completely deserted Blue Lagoon (main blip) and the Baths of Aphrodite.

There was only the three of us plus the knowledgeable driver (Jimmy) on the trip so we had our own personalised itinerary.
