Signing Off

I signed on at 820am for a days guarding.  A very good day it was too, even the weather decided to play ball after lunch with glorious sunshine for the afternoon trip.  Here the loco, No 4, Edward Thomas, named after the general manager who kept the railway alive during the final decades of private ownership, is back on shed.  Fire dropped, the last of the steam enough to propel her into the engine shed. 5pm.  I've just signed off.

Half an hour later I was heading for the sea where the Tywyn sunset was developing nicely .... extra pic.
