Posters on Display

This afternoon  I attended the Salon des Livres et Papiers Anciens--a trade fair for "Old Books and Papers" for the 4th time.  It's held semi-annually, on the northwestern edge of Paris, usually in February (fortunately for me).  An incredible range of items is offered:  every sort of  of book (bound, paper,  comic and more), posters, post cards,  photographs, prints, maps and more.   This dealer offers mainly travel posters;  but don't miss the huge one for "LA VACHE QUI RIT"--a major brand for a modest product. My first visit to the fair was  5 years ago.  I usually buy several modest things; particularly special was last year's book on the Bridges of Paris (posted in that extra).
