Rhythm guitar

I always thought it would be great to play in a rock band, lead guitar and singer. I might have been able to play lead guitar, but the singing is doubtful.  ;) I'd settle for rhythm guitar.
We both took guitar lessons years ago. and I picked it up again before I started to blip.  Not enough time in a day!  The guitar sits in a corner, tempting me.
