Took Mike down to the Theatre by the Lake for his performance today - but we arrived an hour early! Which gave me the chance to take a walk past the landing stages, into Strandshag bay, where the lake margins were frozen, leaving great patterns.

The contrast here was so extreme, I had to do a 7-shot bracket and I used exposure fusion rather than tone mapping in Photomatix Pro to give a more natural result.

So glad we turned up early!
