Strike a Pose

How wonderful it was to go out after work and hear a familiar sound shrill.  Lo and behold it as Fred who I have not seen for a bit now!  Always 'obliging', he struck a pose before going for the peanut (which I had placed for him as soon as I heard him overhead).  See extra for a last backward look as he grabbed the peanut.

Crazy ol' day today.  For a short week, it has felt a month long.  We have had so many staff absent that it has been ridiculous. Then I find out this evening that a specialist has an opening so I will need to be absent on Tuesday...ouch.  The good news is, it means that I may have cataracts removed soon so I will actually be able to see better. I am rather excited about that  : )
