sunset cinemas...

...are very much a feature of a Western Australian summer and often include deckchairs and a huge expanse of grass where folk lay out a picnic rug ( and later in the evening lay out their children in sleeping bags to sleep!)

This one, a pop up in a tiny park here in the hills and the locals were wandering in to settle in for an evening of Marvel heroes 'Ant Man and the Wasp'...and it was free!
A woodfired pizza stall was on hand and the equivalent of a Mr Whippee van...now that is a Friday night at the movies.
