Pretty, gritty city

Brighton is a great place to live and there are some beautiful parts of the city. This, however, is not one of them. It is the street parallel to London Road, behind all the shops for anyone who knows the city. It is practically used as a rubbish dump by the shop owners and always has a few unusual characters hanging around. Despite its grubbiness, there is some graffiti worth seeing and other wall art that is actually quite good down there, not just lazy tagging! Also, the low sun and dramatic clouds made for quite interesting light, so this is the picture I took.
I am pretty happy with how this gritty photo of the city turned out overall!
