Morning.....

......and dusk.

We woke to a beauty morning, the sea calm as it gently lapped the shore, Whale Island is in clear view, a great fishing day for those that like being on the sea. 

Today we picked my aunt up and went over to Tauranga to see my cousin who is in hospital because of a stroke, just 54 years old. I wasn't sure how he'd be but we were all pleasantly surprised at the progress he's making. He was able to join us for lunch across the road at a cafe, walking unaided and keeping a good pace. I did enjoy seeing him.

Tonight back at the bach the sky changed as the sun descended. Vibrant shades, clouds, rainbows and rain along the horizon over a period of 30 mins, what a spectacle!

PS Another backblip of our North Island trip during winter last year visiting family, we had a fantastic time and so nice to relive these memories with these backblips.
