Double Bubble ski trail

Today, with blue skies and sun the outdoors beckoned. The cross-country trails at Hillside were in great shape, thanks to the Nordic Ski club groomers. They groom the trails at night to smooth the skate portions and reset the classic tracks. I stopped for this blip on a trail called Double Bubble. Fewer skiers take this add-on trail. There is one steep downhill with a sharp turn at the bottom. I hoped I would not run into a moose around the bend, or the stray cow that was reported lost in December out here. 

The week promises more sun and no clouds. I'd rather some more snow in the forecast. I came home and tucked in for a nap.
