This feels wrong; can you get arrested for this?

After a leisurely breakfast we headed into town and 1st stop was Little Sisters, as R wanted to look at books. I on the other hand wandered into another part of the store, and had an education in human anatomy and what you could do for pleasure. This was the adult part of the store, and quite something!
We then went to Yaletown where all the old warehouses have be converted into shops and restaurants. Some fantastic architectural restoration in keeping with the original design.
Lunch was at Rodneys, a funky fish restaurant, with a fresh fish counter and very knowledgeable and friendly staff. We started with a selection of Canadian east and west coast oysters, heaven, followed by 4 different fish mains. All absolutely delicious.
The last time we were in Vancouver we were quite taken aback by the Cannabis shops, and intrigued, but never got round to going in one. Today we did, hence the photo. You can’t see anything outside of what to expect inside, but I would never have guessed this. It was just like walking into an Apple store. The staff all has IPads, neat aprons, and big smiles asking if they could help. They pointed out that the counters had little plastic bowls with different varieties of cannabis. Each had a magnifying glass in the top so you could clearly see the levels of crystallisation on the buds and a removable air vent so that you could smell the cannabis. They also had written descriptions of the strength, origin and different constituents that would determine the affects it would have on you, from calming to invigorating. Tangerine Dream was popular, I noted. We watched people place their orders via IPads and collect from a counter not dissimilar to a pharmacy. Amazing, and a very diverse group of happy shoppers. Although legal, as we left the shop I still felt a bit as if the police would suddenly pounce and we’d be arrested.
Tonight we had a few games of Skipbo whilst chatting, and were much less giddy than last night which was beginning to catching up with us all.
What a fabulous 1st day, and exciting things to come.
