Sentinels

Had a little tootle along towards Crieff today, intending to enjoy the spring sunshine but Perth and Kinross appeared to be blanketed in dense fog, so had a quick look in a garden centre and came home again.  On the way we passed through the town of Muthill, which I really must go back and have a proper look at when the weather improves.  It has lots of little nooks and crannies and apparently it has roman origins followed by monks.  These old petrol pumps standing on the pavement next to the bins caught my eye - not sure if they are a permanent fixture or if they had been put out for the binmen to remove.  The Mysteries of Muthill!
