7.30am, Campbeltown Loch

12.1C and bright with some mist around. Wind SE/ESE to 22 mph.

After lunch Fergus and I got my little car and drove round Kilkerran Road to the Doirlinn car park. The weather forecast had predicted a sunny day but there was a light mist everywhere. I couldn't see across to Arran or to the Ayrshire coast. Ailsa Craig was just visible from near New Orleans.

We walked out along the road passing Davaar island and Davaar House and continued along the road to New Orleans. There were lots of ducks along the shore and in the sea. No seals.

On the Clip while walking:
The Scotland Outdoors podcast with Euan McIlwraith and Mark Stephen.
Beaver, nets, paths, parks, flying sheep, a wine tower and St Drostan.

Afternoon music ... Clannad, Magical Ring. Runrig, The Story.
