Tarbert, OB482

12.1C with some haze/mist but from mid morning the sunny sunshine arrived. Light SE/SSE breeze.

Apothecary7's day off.

We had another little outing to Tarbert to extend Apothecay7's birthday which was yesterday. We drove North up the West road to Tarbert and had a few hours there. This time we stayed on the South side of East Loch Tarbert and walked out the village road to its end. Even before the mist/haze cleared the boats in the harbour were catching the sun and the colours were bright and saturated. Out past the ferry slipway we could see across the Loch to White Shore beach where we had been earlier this month. Further out the road we watched a little creel boat come in and not long after the ferry came across Loch Fyne from Portavadie and made its usual quick turn round before heading back across.

We visited "A Fyne Deli" again and had our sandwiches in the sunshine at a picnic table looking over the marina and towards the working harbour. Fergus was once again bribed with a morsel or two of bacon to settle down while we ate.

After lunch we had a little wander along the harbour and village side of the loch and then we headed back down the Kintyre peninsula for home.
