The Way of Colour

Hazy

12.1C and sunny with haze or mist again. Light ESE/W breeze.

After lunch Fergus and I went for a walk out to the old shipyard and wandered out the shore path to Slaty Farlan. It was very hazy again. I gave Fergus the chance to go in for a swim and even threw a few stones in for him to chase the splashes but he didn't go far in despite seeming quite keen. Too cold maybe.

On the Clip while walking:
Podcast of BBC radio 3's The Verb podcast with Ian McMillan (poet, author, playwright, and broadcaster):
Pitching your work.

Podcast of BBC radio 4's Word of Mouth, with the excellent Michael Rosen in the chair:
Listen and learn: how to make better conversation
Michael Rosen talked to Eddy Canfor-Dumas and Peter Osborn about how improving our dialogue is good for everything, from helping excluded children to resolving conflict.

Radio Scotland's Brainwaves Podcast:
Pennie Latin explored how to better understand the conflict we get into and how pausing and stopping the arguments in our lives can lead us to be a bit happier and healthier.

Afternoon: Since BBC radio 3 doesn't seem to be making the new series of Digital Human available as a podcast I listened to two episodes on "Sounds".
1. Gentrification.
2. Snake Oil.
... then Tangerine Dream, Quantum Gate.
