A little too early?

Out early this morning with the woofer, so early in fact we'd been out for about half an hour before it began to get light! In between lampposts I came across this tree, festooned with buds. It wasn't so long ago it lost all it's leaves so I think these green shoots of recovery are a little premature! Given the temperature this morning they want to stay dormant for a while longer.

To be interested in the changing seasons is a happier state of mind than to be hopelessly in love with spring.
