Mr. and Ms. Euchre

My daughter Karen has been after me to go play euchre (a card game) with the group that she plays with. Tonight, I relented.

I was worried about playing because I usually play with a bunch of old people...where the pace of play is slow, and you are not taken outside and beat for making a wrong move. Tonight, it was pretty serious, but it was still fun, and I think I did OK.

Karen ended up with 68 points, and won a bagful of quarters. I was right behind her with 67 points, and also won a bag of quarters...which totaled out at 8 dollars. So, for my 5 dollar entry fee...I grossed 3 bucks.
