Dazzling yet hazy

The sea sparkled in the sunshine today, yet the distance was very hazy. This is the fourth day running of glorious, warmth, blue skies and sunshine. I believe this spell is due to break tomorrow, with fog, rain and wind forecast, but it's been (being) beautiful while it lasts.

These photos are both taken from Slapton Sands - the main blip, looking south, the Extra, looking north. Now off for a longer walk while the weather holds.

POST-WALK EDIT: added a second Extra of the first 7-spot ladybird and first butterfly - a peacock - that I've seen this year. Hope they will survive after the hot spell passes!
