A Good Spread

This might not look like much but the darker soil is a few hundred kilos of compost that I've dug out of the compost bin, spadeful by spadeful, and spread over part of the two larger veggie beds. And there were huge numbers of worms in it so that's good news. There's another half tonne of compost on order and the rest of the beds will be prepped and ready by the time it's delivered, by which time my back may have recovered from today's efforts.
4C and frosty for the start of our golf this morning, 18C when we finished, then it stayed warm and I was down to a T-shirt for the gardening later. In February! Just crazy.
