Cottage ruin at the paddock

Today I circumnavigated the flanks of the Stiperstones, taking in the location of the abandoned village of Paddocks. Of all the ruins this remains stubbornly upright surviving winter gales and storms. The locations of the other cottages are now just marked by piles of stone rubble, slowly being re appropriated to repair barns and stones walls in the area.
