Another Firkin Point

Another wonderful day! Set off for home after visiting Mrs M's Mum and stopped - again - at Firkin Point for a picnic in the sun.

Last night's Joan Baez concert was wonderful and she got a very good welcome. She only made one political statement - 'Trump is the worst president we've ever had. We shouldn't be building walls, we should be feeding the hungry and clothing the naked!' She did well to stand up, playing guitar and singing, for two hours without a break - at the age of 79!

My extra's are of a little girl with her Dad, skimming stones in Loch Lomond while Mum looks on, and the section of the old road where the picnic tables sit. We remembered when that was the real road and a man used to park his van in the layby and sell eggs! Hard to imagine now!
