American Avocet

There were many birds in a little pond near our hotel; these Avocets were there this morning.....very pretty! I was delighted to see them. I thought they were Stilts; but when I looked it up on the internet I realized it was an American Avocet......a bird I had not seen before. 

Another trip to the New England Lobster House today. We are loving the lobster tacos! We will be back here if we visit SF again. Yummy.
