On the edge...

I get a sinking feeling that this little chalet in the woods (tree house) may well make a descent into the abyss soon.  The fox.. or perhaps a badger has moved in underneath it.. a nice dry doorstep for them under the balcony at least.  There were some repairs made to the structure this winter but it is beginning to look a little edgy in my opinion.  Also the poor tree is suffering where they have built the balcony around it... it is now being strangled and a swelling is appearing on the trunk.  To my knowledge no one uses it but l enjoy photographing it periodically
