The loss

It's been a month since the hijack.

The bruises are gone (more-or-less), her knee is no longer aching, but the her independence is gone.

And this is what she wants / needs.

And I cannot give it to her.

My heart broke as I watched her.  The lift to church said they were on duty, so they were going early.  She must be outside at 7.45.  At 7.42 she was still inside................. trying to do something with her hair, which is so out of shape.  She needs a hair cut, but no one will take her. I shewed her out.  She was waiting by 7.45.  She then stood outside on that pavement, in that flimsy dress, until 7.58.  That was the time they finally picked her up.

The drama did not end there.

As I unlocked the door to let her in, some 90 minutes later, she burst into tears and told me, she was done with the church.

She had said something outside the church, about the lack of support / help.  And a so called Council member from the church, instead of acknowledging the failure.

IT IS A FAILURE......... the only help she has received, has been from people NOT FROM THE CHURCH !

This women chose to "attack her"-- telling her how ungrateful she was.

What a bitch !

And what a world, we are living in.  There is no respect, no public transport and no community.......
