The Old Forge (Friday 1st March 2019)

Now that the plum blossom is out, the work that the tree surgeon undertook last year to the shape of the tree is evident. I blipped some of the blossom on Wednesday, here is an overall view taken from the driveway turning circle. I have also re-photographed a clump of narcissus to show the grape hyacinths that are now peeping through (see Extra).

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
William DeVaughn - Be Thankful For What You Got (1974)
There are many versions of this tune including ones by Massive Attack, Arthur Lee's Love and Curtis Mayfield, but this is the million-selling original as played on Iggy Pop Confidential on this day.
